check the L3 cache and other cache comparisons on the powerbook vs. the ibook. i think you'll see much better performance with faster frontside bus and larger caches. so if you can spare the extra cash the improved performance you'll love. the osx experience just kicks sooo much butt too. itunes is one of the best programs out there. and make sure you get the latest mac os: 10.3 - jaguar. it's supposed to be just killer, all the usability features are great. and you get a ton of great utilities with it too. _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |

I'm no expert on laptops, but I've had a Dell tower for like 2 years, and with the exception of having WinME, I really have no complaints. I hope that's at least a little help! ![]() _______________ Midbie Council Member #2 - Profile ID 2073 | Member of B@rtM@ulS@ar | Owner of Monty's 2000th comment & D@RtHM@UL's 8100th comment | Former Padawan of SilkMonkey & Arcuss JA Goaltender & NHL Fan | Fellow Rush fan to Axion|Plo Koon is my oldest JA friend Post your RL pics HERE! | Post you JK2/JK3 screenies HERE! |
