Okay, I had that problem too let me guess, you used /playermodel? that always does that ![]() no matter what skin you choose ![]() I would suggest checking everything, like making sure you have the .glm file in place (the right one btw) also check the .skin_default file and make sure that the map that contains all of your skin files, doesn't have the same name as some other skin. If you change the map name, make sure you change the location in the .skin file. Otherwise it won't work either I can suggest you contact Sared, if it still doesn't work after all these steps, he's like tha man to contact when having problems skinning. Just ask nicely. I'm sure he'll help you then ![]() http://www.thejediacademy.net/show_profile.php?f_id=1404 _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! Okay... Did you use Pakscape or my way? (first of all: make sure it is in the base folder...) Then, make sure you have the model.glm file in your skin pack otherwise it won't work secondly, make sure you have a logo for your skin (and don't forget the _default behind the logo name!) Third, make sure your skin map doesn't have the same name as another skin has Fourth: Make sure your .skin file (the Notepad file) has all the right locations in it, and all of the necessary files in the pk3 file Try all of this and after that, contact me again ![]() _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! Oh yeah sure ![]() but think about it like this first you'll have to find the program... then you'll have to press download then you'll open it then you'll have to install it (about 5 clicks?) then you'll have to run the program and find out how it bloody works... (about 5 months?) so, what's the biggest work? _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! Quote: I try to have fun with my friends and try to make a difference as best I can. Or, you could just download Pakscape, and just pack everything up in a .pk3 to begin with ![]() It makes it much easier, for us people who are too lazy to right-click on a filename, press end, then press backspace 3 times, then type "pk3".. thats a lot of work ![]() _______________ Stimpski (formerly known as DeathScythe many, many moons ago.) Yes![]() I've had the very same problem Don't worry about it the solution is actually very easy ![]() You go to "This Computer" or whatever it's called in XP then you do: Extra-->Mapoptions (or something like that) Tab Filetypes (or something like that) Advanced Then it says something about the extensions, be sure this sentence is ticked ON not off! ![]() Then you see the zip extension behind your zip file, and you can just change it into pk3 _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website!
