Well, the old thread was full, I could not add anything to it  So I made a new one. Also, Sorry that it took so long but I had to discribe a fighting scene and thats hard. I usually rewrite them 20 times . But here it is: Chapter 8.(Copyright ©2003 Ashley Rei Jackson) ------------------------------------------------- Chapter 8 Eclipses Story ‘What do you mean? You know where he is?’ Kim asked her. ‘Just follow me’ Rei shouted as she speeded up back in the direction they came from. Kim looked at Luke who nodded and they soon followed. Rei hoped that they would be in time to save Eclipse. Because fighting 8 Dark Jedi at the same time is pretty intense. It took them less then 6 minutes to get to the place where Rei saw Eclipse fighting. ‘I don’t understand’ Rei said. ‘I saw him right here, in my mind’ She continued as she looked towards an abandoned Battlefield. ‘There is nothing here but the corpses we made yesterday’ Deadlock said. ‘But I saw them’ Rei said while looking at Luke. ‘I am sure you did Rei but there is nothing here’ Luke said. Suddenly they heard blaster fire coming from their left side. They all activated their lightsabers and waited. Only seconds later they saw an orange lightsaber coming towards them. ‘I knew it’ Rei thought. Eclipse was surprised but did not mind the reinforcement. ‘What took you so long’ Eclipse laughed at Luke. Only seconds later he noticed Rei was there. Eclipse smiled but there was no time to chat. There were 12 Dark Jedi in front of them each with an activated lightsaber. ‘Back Down’ Luke said. ‘You do not stand a chance’ He continued. ‘We can solve this peacefully’ Kim said. ‘No, we cannot’ said a voice coming from somewhere else. A dark and tall figure leaped in front of the group of Dark Jedi. ‘Deadlock, I always knew you weren’t loyal to the dark lord’ He said. ‘If the Dark Lord would have offered me more power, I might have accepted his stupid offers’ Deadlock said. ‘Tell your master that you need to offer me more then just a bit of low life scum under my command’ Deadlock mocked. ‘I take it you know each other?’ Luke said. ‘Luke, meet Jamar the Slave of the Dark Lord’ Deadlock said. ‘Dark Lord?’ Luke said with a pained face. Jamar Laughed. ‘Haha, you mean to tell me, that the great Luke Skywalker did not sense his presence? ‘Now let us fight, we have postponed this far to long’ Jamar said with a very cold and deep voice. Suddenly the Dark Jedi leaped towards the group of Jedi. Saber clashes and flashes were heard everywhere. Rei found herself fighting two dark Jedi. ‘Haha, a little girl’ said one of them. Rei didn’t listen and barely managed to avoid an incoming blow from the right. She swung her lightsaber towards the first Dark Jedi and Dodged a blow coming from the second. Suddenly she saw a Dark Jedi flying over her head and she looked sideways for a sec. She saw Deadlock throwing around Darksiders while laughing. She quickly concentrated on her fight again and blocked two incoming strikes. Then suddenly one of the Dark Jedi tried to grip Rei. She saw it coming and pushed him backwards with a force blast. The force knocked him back onto something both Rei and the Dark Jedi did not expect. There was a loud crack and as Rei looked at the Dark Jedi, she saw his body impaled by a huge Rock. The Dark Jedi staggered and soon breathed his last. The other Dark Jedi was furious. He raged at Rei with his lightsaber right in front of him. Rei quickly thought of what Bardiel once did to her. She focuses, Leaped up and kicked him to the chest. She landed with a perfectly made back flip on her feet again. The Dark Jedi flew a few feet backwards into the reach of Deadlocks Lightsaber. He saw the Dark Jedi trying to get up, Deadlock laughed and with a very sarcastic ‘bye bye’ he finished the Darksider off. Rei looked around and just caught the last glimpse of Kim elegantly finishing off a Dark Jedi. They all turned to Luke who was fighting Jamar. It was going very fast. Rei had trouble even trying to keep up with all the moves that went on. Suddenly Jamar found an opening in Luke’s attack and slashed sideways. Jamar’s saber hit Luke’s saber so hard that Luke could not keep his grip. The green saber sputtered and deactivated as it hit the ground. Rei was surprised by this. Yet Luke smiled. ‘Your master is a well trained Sith I see’ Luke said still smiling. ‘Old man, your powers have grown weak over the years’ Replied Jamar still firmly holding his saber near Luke’s head. Deadlock and Xander slowly moved closer to Jamar. Jamar noticed ‘One more step and your Master here dies’ he said. Rei was too scared to even look at what was going on. The thought of losing her grandfather was too much to bear. She did not even hear anything Jamar said. She heard some words but they ment nothing to her. Suddenly she heard Jamar say: ‘And now, it will end’. Rei opened here eyes and time seemed to slow down. Luke was surprised of the strike coming towards his head. Rei heard Kim shout nooo!. Suddenly there was eclipse. His speed was amazing. He leaped towards Jamar with his saber in an attack position. He blocked the strike that was coming towards Luke’s head with great precision and struck Jamar straight at the neck. A face with a very surprised expression fell on the ground and soon the headless body followed. Rei ran towards Luke who was busy thanking Eclipse. She jumped in his arms and hugged him. ‘I am so glad you are alright’ she said. ‘Hey, what about me?’ Eclipse said. Rei turned to Eclipse and hugged him as well. ‘Thanks so much’ and she smiled. They went back to the personal ship from Luke. When they were all safely aboard the ship Luke spoke. ‘It’s obvious that the Dark Side has grown stronger’ ‘So strong that I was unable to detect it in my visions’. ‘This is troubling indeed’ Eclipse continued. ‘While I was down there, I found out why they were after us on Sigma 02’. ‘They want Rei’ He said while looking at her. Rei shivered. ‘B..But why?’ She said. ‘The force power you have inside of you is indeed similar to the one held by Anakin Skywalker but, its even greater’. ‘They have found some sort of device in which they can extract force energy from people and places’ ‘They wish to extract yours and implant it in their new leader’ Eclipse said pained. ‘Do you know who that leader is?’ Luke asked. ‘Lord Dragondor’ Deadlock said. ‘WHAT’ shouted Luke, You knew this?’ ‘Yes’ replied Deadlock calmly. ‘Then why did you not tell me of his existence’ Continued Luke more calm. ‘Because he was been there for 200 years now and I thought that you already knew of his presence’ Deadlock said. ‘I think it is time we head back to the academy and finish Rei’s training’ Luke said. ‘With an apprentice that strong, I can only imagine how strong Dragondor is’ ‘Rei might be the only way to stop him’ Luke concluded. ‘Right now, I suggest we go and get some rest until the ship arrives at the academy’ Luke said. Rei could not sleep. She was thinking. ‘I don’t want to be a Jedi anymore’ ‘this isn’t right’ ‘I am a danger to everyone I am around’ she thought. ‘Now you are just being silly’ said an unknown male voice. Rei looked up to where it came from but she saw nothing. ‘You want to give up your talent?’ Said now a female voice. ‘Who is there?’ Rei whispered. Suddenly two ghostly formed people appeared in Rei’s quarters. ‘F.Father?, M..Mother?’ Rei whispered. She had tears in her eyes. ‘Rei, we want you to become a Jedi’ Said her father. ‘You cannot give up now’ said her mother. ‘When times are harsh, what you have to do is stick to your cause’ She continued. ‘Your cause was to become a Jedi, and to that cause you must stay’ said her father. ‘Rei our time is short here, I want you to know that we love you and that we miss you very much, but we will always watch over your actions’ Said her mother who seemed to have very much trouble to speak. ‘D..don’t G..go’ Rei cried. ‘There i.is so much more I want to talk to you about’ She continued. But the ghostly forms already started to disappear. ‘Remember, Always be true to the Light side, for it leads to salvation’ Said her father as he faded away……..
