Doesn't Lucas say whether the EU books can have the Star Wars name on it? I find it a little funny that so many people think Lucas would really hold anything in the Expanded Universe with any regard. He probably would have named Coruscant something different in the Prequels if people wouldn't have been ready to hunt him down and kill him if he did. If Lucas were to continue with more episodes he would likely negate and spit on so many things that went on during the Expanded Universe novels it would leave so many people disappointed. Stop with Episode 3. Also, the NJO takes place 21 years after rotj. The first book of the NJO was made in 1999:Vector Prime. ROTJ ended in around 1981-83 ish i forget. Think about it, its 21 years later in our time. Ok heres what i recall lucas saying. He said if he started another trilogy, it would be like taking another 20 years outta his life. He said something like that in an interview, however, he did say he was considering it, starting with the NJO novels. Well, Luke could also just kinda hang out at the Academy and send his Jedi out on quests every week. OR....how about if the series would take place before Ep1. I think that would be pretty cool. I dunno if Hamil can do it though. He's decrepid now. I'd rather see something follow someone other than Luke and the rest of that party. Like Kyle. I was reading through this thread and I think a Star Wars TV series would be AWESOME!!! You could even have Mark Hamill play Luke. Every week could be a new adventure he and whatever characters goes on. It could take place after ROTJ and that way having an Mark Hamill could be and older Luke. Mark Hamill couldn't play an older Skywalker anymore, true, but I saw a wicked picture of an 'Older Skywalker'... Here are a few, some better than others. I doubt Lucas will continue the legacy... however I think the question should be will he let someone else continue the legacy? Yeah, I agree with Plo. Lucas said he wanted to get into TV instead of making more Star Wars. I don't think they should make more SW movies anyway. Mark Hamil is old and ugly and nobody could play an older Skywalker. Plus, after ROTJ has been written in SO many books that it would be impossible to fit them into 3 movies. What I want to see is another spin off. Like the Ewok Adventure movies. Those were sweet.
