So I'm stuck in Booneville with no cable modem. This means I have to get on AoL molasses dialup, and I've found that when I get online, mIRC won't start. It says that the server can't be found. AOL is a banned ISP from Quakenet. You either gotta email the Quakenet admins (no not the JA admins) to allow you in or you gotta get a new ISP (not CS either).... or was that dalnet? Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? I'm getting to old to remember irc server's policies. Edit: Er... I think I'm wrong. Ignore me. try another server (eg. se.quakenet.org) for me us.quakenet.org doesn't work and the german&swedish do :S |

Double check your server. It is "irc.quakenet.org". Are you behind a firewall, or a router, maybe? |
