You may think I'm starting a modding project or something.. That's not it ![]() But I need help with Radiant, and it's a grave problem... I've dowloaded the latest version of GtkRadiant (the 1.3.12 version) and it installs completely, without any errors and when I start it up... it goes BANG! A message appears, saying there has been a fatal error in the .exe file and Radiant will be closed. It also says I need to restart my computer if the problems continue. I restart, problems stay And I've tried everything... reinstall, patches, reading the faq, the manual, everything I could think of but no result the problems stay I also read in the manual that u can't install it over an older version So I uninstalled the previous version first. But I'm stumped right now... (I used to have version 1.2.8 (I believe) and that worked fine for JK2) So, any mappers out there that can fix my problem? Just for the record: I have the following system: AMD Athlon 2500 XP + Windows Millenium (ME) 40 GB hard drive 3 buttons on my mouse ![]() Any help here would be hot ![]() Thanks in advance and many greetz Bail Hope Belouve _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! Have you d/l-ed all the SPs for WinME (if any)? It could not only be Radiant's fault you know... Well, I'll d/l radiant and help you more if I can _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. This comment was edited by _cmad_ on Jan 01 2004 09:34am. |

I installed it with the following paths: The map went in C:/ Program Files/ Radiant My JA directory is here: C:/ Program Files/ LucasArts/ Star Wars Jedi Academy (Radiant automatically pointed to the Base folder in the JA map, should I need to remove the Base part? ![]() And it's the same for the Jedi outcast directory, only it's : C:/ Program Files/ Lucasarts/ Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast (game also pointed immediatly to the Base folder, should I remove it, or not? ![]() _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! Hmmm... are you sure you pointed the installed JA and JO directory to the Gamedata folders? Because I've had this problem before, and when I did this, it fixed it, here is how I installed mine: 'Path to save Radiant and Radiant core files- G:/LucasArts/JARadiant' 'Please enter path where Jedi Academy is installed- G:/LucasArts/Jedi Academy/gamedata' 'Please enter path where Jedi Outcast is installed- G:/LucasArts/Jedi Outcast/gamedata' But, if that doesn't work I'll have to look into it further.. /edit sorry, had to fix the // in my paths ![]() _______________ Padawan to the great Katan JA Brother to D@RTHM@ULR.I.P. Tell me the exact path you installed it in, try installing it again, with the path something like this JA/Gamedata. See if that works. If not, I'll help you some more ![]() _______________ Padawan to the great Katan JA Brother to D@RTHM@ULR.I.P. Vladarion, may he find peace in the afterlife. |
