 OMG OMG OMG mkay well heres the scoop, my folks soooo proud of the initiative me and my fiancee took to plan our wedding decided to help things so it doesnt interfere with life, by marrying in may we were cutting things dangerously close to finals. so they secretly as a surprise bought the invites we had picked bought the wedding dress i was like OMG I WANT IT but its too expensive OMG I GOT IT they also SENT OUT THE INVITES TO THE PPL WE HAD LISTED Aparently sent out B4 New Years on them was a mssg NOT TO MENTION THE DATE CHANGE so 2 days ago my folks say they dont aprove of the wedding on my birthday their reason: IT WOULD MAKE THE ONE ON VALENTINES A WASTE!!!!!! First and Foremost CONGRATULATIONS! Love rocks At lots of smart people have said a lot of smart things, so here’s my 2 cents: Always make sure you are very content with who you are and so is he, the relationship is only as strong as the individuals within it. Consider and discuss everything what you want education, travel, family etc and that there is nothing that you crave that would hurt your partner and vice versa. Congrats!! Im gonna agree with what smily had to say. I have no idea what kind of relationship you two have but please do not rush into a cermony right after graduating. Congrats Angel!! I really hope everything works out for you. I want to suggest something though. Please do not at all take this the wrong way for i have no idea what your relationship is like. If I were you, I would kinda hold off on planning the wedding right away. Be engaged, love each other, etc, but do not go through the whole wedding ceremony yet. I am saying this because both of you have yet to experience college. If you guys can get through the first 2 years of college with no problems then by all means ,proceed. I just dont want to see you have any type of regrets once its all said and done. I have seen quite a few people in my lifetime rush into gettintg married after high school and they all regret it. Again, I have no idea what your relationship is like, but if you had to think about your decision in the least bit, i would just wait to see how college goes. Its a whole different stage in your life and it can change your life in an instant. Trust me, i know! But again, I dont know your situation and i just want to help. I dont want to see you get hurt in the long run.
