I've officially started watching the third series on sky one now, its got me well and truly hooked in just two episodes.

Heh, rip-offs tend to display some elements of what they were ripping off, other than starships, space and droids I don't think there is much similarity between BSG and SW. I stand corrected if there is a glaring similarity

Thought it would be a good time to *BUMP* this thread.
What have you guys thought about the show so far? Trying to avoid as many spoilers as I can.... My favorite moments so far would be the Galactica reentry into New Caprica's atmosphere (the Adama Manuever as it has been called) and the Pegasus fight with the basestars. Ahh the original BSG was good fun, used to be on at 6:45 on BBC, weekdays between other more recent shows. I saw the special pilot of the new rethinking of it a while ago, and i was impressed enough to watch most of the first series, and i agree its very well made tv. Heh, Dash, we aren't talking about the old one. That one is rather different than the "rethought" BSG. This BSG has some major differences with characters and plot. Starbuck being female for example. Anyways, I feel that Battlestar Galactica is one of the most rich tv shows out there.
