"Disclaimer: Columbine Paintball is not an actual paintball facility, nor is there any monetary profits related to Columbine Paintball. However, the ignorant mail we get from people who believe it is real is pathetic. These people will believe anything they see without question or even analysing what they see to try to find out for themselves if it's real or not." Yes, but it's still in extremely poor taste. There is, however, no law against that. And paintball does rule. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |

Hrm... I still have mixed feelings on this. I think the idea of re-creating scenarios is a good one, as CT Teams often practice historical operations, like Princess Gate, etc. So there is novelty in exposing people to the idea/training. But, there are the disadvantages: First, allowing it to be open to the public. I can see some benefit for a few people in getting exposure to the scenario, but most people will not have the option of countering a domestic terrorist threat inside a high school. Secondly, that people do this as a "fun experience". I could see, even accept, people doing such a thing for the exposure/knowledge, if it were worthwhile. Sorta like Civil War reenactments, or WWII sieges. Not meant to be fun to raid enemy civilians, but as a training tool. I think very few use this as a training tool, and very few have any justification to use it as a training tool. So, IF someone were to be justified in using this, it would be some form of SWAT team, military or police potential. This I could accept, for they often build "killhouses" in order to re-create an experience. But that's my view. Perhaps I'm a more rational person than to say "OMFG!! YOU GOING TO HELL!!!" I see potential novelty here, but nothing in the lines of what they are pursuing. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. That's only a slogan, and is as misleading as slogans always are.
