Sup, I am not sure how this happened but I have a program called New.Net on my computer, it appears to do nothing useful, and SpyBot considers it spyware. I did the uninsall but there are 2 files left in: C:\Program Files\NewDotNet the .dll for the program and the uninsall file. The directory is read-only, if I change he permissions on it to be not Read-only somehow it becomes read-only again immediately. I had kind of the same problem only my spyware program was called Apropos That adware program Mighty Onion gave me showed it was spyware, but it couldn't remove it. It then asked "Do you want to allow this to be deleted after the next reboot". I didn't know what I was doing so I said yes... When I went to look, it was no longer there, there was just a map and two small files, which I then deleted myself _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! And as Acura says, the reg edit, Yeah, but only touch that if you actually know what you are doing because lots of important stuff is in there that you do NOT want to delete So I suggest simply use a program like Spyware or Adware to remove it _______________ ~ Honor is a fool's prize. A REALY good program is Ad-Aware it removes these type of things from ur comp I dont REALY remember the web site but check on google and u'll get it of course its free so chekc it out _______________ Sister to Smily,Axion,and CT Friend to ALL... go into safemode should f8 when u boot up u can delete it then and go through regedit to make sure its gone for good hope that helps ^_^ _______________ |
