Time will tell about MxO. Although... SoE in control of SWG HAS seemed to have left the storyline in darkness. Honestly there should not be any Jedi whatsoever, except for Luke and Echuu Shen Jon(sp?). Anyway... hopefully MxO will keep it's momentum. EDIT: Thing I like about FFXI is that SquareEnix has never done anything to mess up the game. It's all in the players on how the economy flows, who goes on endgame runs, etc...... although atm the economy blows ._. _______________ Luke Skywalker

Oh, and on a somewhat related note, it looks like SoE is buying the rights to MxO. Monolith wants out of the MMO genre. This means that SoE will either screw it all to hell, or finally fix some things about it. Also, has anyone heard about Lucasarts threatening to pull SWG from SoE's control? Grinding isn't terrible, it's just long. Some jobs get groups better than others and on some days it's reversed... depends on what's in need. I definitely won't argue about the clothing, MxO takes the cake. _______________ Luke Skywalker

'Eh, its okay I guess. I'm holding out for FFXII. Also, I've heard from others that the class/grinding system is a pain. You can swap jobs sure, but if you're in the upper levels, it's going to be a while until you get a group together to go grind/hunting. In MxO a level 50 can group with a level 2 and both will still benefit. My only big complaint about Matrix Online so far is that Hacker (the mage/caster class) is WAY the **** overpowered. Me? Akido and Knife Thrower. Oh, but clothing in MxO is cooler. Don't even try to argue that. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |
