I dunno about the sweet shop stuff, but really you can set up a thing called a pic cheaper then you can a running PC to make gil, or whatever kind of money. I had a pick program in EQ there for a bit, and that is how I payed for the game, and monthly fees, I think I finished out with about 100 extra bucks. Selling gil or whatever is a god way for high level players to keep playing, they can earn gil they dont need and sell it to cover their RL costs so they can keep playing. It is a good way to get started, since the time it takes to earn the money in RL to buy the gil is much lower then the ingame time to farm it. Jsut my 2 cents _______________ Using no way as way. mining is an awesome money maker! Just have to watch out for aggro. I find it best for when you are a little higher lvl. Also growing plants in your house does good too. San D'Oria And yes I know I've done crystal farming. Though the 2K per stack sales aren't really going anywhere. I tried catching Moat Carps, they all sold. T_T I heard that people in asia are made to sit there and play the game so that gil can be sold. Its supposively like a sweat shop. People on the game are very much against doing that, buying gil. Its up to you though. I farm beadeaux sometimes. But it really varies. Take out a low lvl job and just kill stuff for crystals! Thats when I make my most gil. Just low lvling. Congrats to Smily! I'm at work all this week, like ALL the time! Glad it went over well! I totally hear ya Eclipse, leveling the subclass stunk (originally aiming for blm/whm, but in the end whm was cooler). But yeah, I know how much of a pain it was. Sure, beginning lvling was fun, but c'mon, after awhile, you don't want to have to go back and start anew just so you can have half of that being used . 20 WHM/ 10 BLM w/ Kimono from Summerfest. before i dropped FFXI i had a lvl 40some whm, 40 some blm, lvl 9 smn (didnt wanna get 10 cuz of the increased mp drain from summons ), and lvls in a bunch of other jobs but this was awhile ago so i dont remember all that much lol. |
