Like I said, its not necessarily a slip up if they have an explanation for why. is there a place at Lucasarts to ask similar to the Jedi Council at Starwars.com? That would be the place to get the answers.

Heh, this is a pretty big slip up by Lucasarts. Kyle's had 4 different saber colors over the Dark Forces series.

He starts with his father's friend's saber, a green one. Then it is destroyed by Boc before you duel Sariss. Yun takes Sariss' blade for you and gives you his saber. Of course, if you go dark side you keep the green one, but going dark doesn't really fit into the rest of the storyline. Btw, Yun's blade is yellow.

However, in MotS, Kyle has an ORANGE blade. I guess some people in charge of MotS were color blind or something. I forget if it said that he build it himself or if its still Yun's, but I'm assuming its Yun's and it was just a screw up on the part of Lucasarts.

And of course in Outcast, he's got a blue one. But I'm sure you've all figured that out by now.

Kinda weird, isn't it?

The green saber belonged to rahn, a friend of morgan katarn, but that saber is destroyed by boc just before you duel sariss, so kyle uses yun's yellow saber instead (and keeps using it for the rest of the game, unless you're doing the dark side finish). I haven't played mysteries of the sith, but I'm guessing that kyle felt like making his own saber or something.

edit - damn you buzz! =P I need to type faster:)

Actually if you follow the dark path in JK then his saber is green through it. But if you follow the light then bok destroys your saber and you take up yun's after he sacrifices himself which I think is one of the coolest things in JK. Yun's saber though was a orange/yellow color so unless kyle created his own lightsaber with a blue blade then it is still a slip up. A Knowledgeable explanation of his blue blade would be nice to know though if one exists.
