Yeah, I remember when this game was first in development, something like 1997 (my memory might be playing tricks on me). Back then it was under Sierra's dev team. It looked awesome back then already, and I'm sure it's gonna be excellent now. I just hope and pray that it won't be in any way similar to the movies, but would take advantage of some other people's imagination than the movie's staff. I doubt I'll be buying it, since I have experience of being consumed by a MMORPG (UO to be precise), and it isn't a pleasant sight But good luck to the dev team, Tolkien's world is a wonder to behold, and I hope that the dev team can transfer even a fragment of the magic that sucked me into Middle-Earth years ago! i know that it is far more into production then the website reveals. but if the amount of info on the website was the current production status, then i wouldnt bet on it coming out in 2004. honestly i do not plan on getting this game. im a one mmorpg kind of person and ive already got ffxi. not only that but the game seems pretty generic which is sad since its based on the title works of what we know fantasy as today. but who knows. maybe ill be blown away. ill have to wait till then. _______________ "We keep odd hours...." ----------------------- They Live, We Sleep This comment was edited by Ash on Jan 30 2004 04:49pm. |
