Since my school has such a prominent band program, we have an event called "Valentunes". People phone our school to order these for $20 CDN, and a group of 3 or 4 band students goes and delivers flowers, chocolates, a card, and a medley of well-known Valentine's songs (Love me Tender, You Are My Sunshine, etc). Personally, I don't have anyone special to spend Valentine's with (yet ), but I'm proud to be contributing to other people's happiness! _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

I've never had problems with the Valentine's day, we've always had a traditional Valentine's giground going around some familiar bars playing music. Also a couple of my friends have their birthdays then so there's never a lack of doing things. This year might be different since this is the first valentine's day for 4 years that I'm not dating my now ex-girlfriend, but on the other hand, back here in Finland VD is never anything that special.
