This is for real. I read about it in the news before I went looking for it on Ebay. I note that someone has bid it up to $99 million. This reminds me of when Madona tried to auction her house on Ebay. Some kids ruined it by bidding up the price to a billion dollars or so and were arrested (placing a fraudulent bid on an auction is actually a pretty serious crime, and they obviously didn't have a billion dollars). I suspect that is what has happened here, and it's a real shame that some loser had to screw up what should be an historic auction.
