Same problem here with the SE. But I also had that problem when I had a GeForce TI 200. I'm pretty sure it's my crappy Abit K7-333R board, but if others are having this problem.... then who knows?  _______________ I must not fear . Fear is the mind-killer. I recently upgraded to a 9600 XT, and once I formatted and reinstalled Windows didn't have a problem with any games except that my FPS in most parts of JKA has dropped by about 40% (compared to my old GeForce4 MX 440 - 64 MB DDR). Celeron 1.7 GHZ 512 MB DDR RAM (266 MHz) ATI Radeon 9600 XT and PLEASE don't be telling me the Celeron's dragging me down... I know it quite well. Especially when playing Halo and KotOR. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

Got an Athlon and an ATI, neither one has caused problems. Make sure your DirecX and OpenGL files are up to date. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

this probably isnt it, just what happened to me. My computer was locking up frequently, and it turned out to be the power supply. I disconnected the fan and it works fine, although i will be getting a new one soon _______________ if at first you dont succeed, try and try again. if you still dont succeed, youve just wasted a whole lot of time trying something you just cant do

Heya Jools, I have the same problems with crashes, only with Jedi Academy as well. I didn't use to have crashes on my old Radeon 7000, but ever since I bought a Radeon 9200, this has been a major problem. I don't have a solution as of yet. ~Ken |
