Who here has played any Ibanez JEM guitars? I got one last summer, and basically treated it as a collectors piece as it's one of the Steve Vai signature models. However, recently I decided to take it out the case, and play it for the first time through an amplifier (My Marshall JCM2000). I now have a new favourite guitar. You know that feeling when you get a new shirt, or jacket... you put it on, and it feels so comfortable. Well, that's basically what happened. I picked this guitar up, and I started playing... It now gets put through at least 3 hours of playing a day. My neighbour recently gave me one of his Ibanez UV's, which i'm going to repair soon... I can only hope it's as good as the JEM555 that I have.  |

Ibanez JEM... pfft... cool but DEFINATELY not my thang. My dad has a subscription to guitar world. They only really focus on the "hip new" music.. like the strokes.. sure they sound allright, but they arent necassariuly guitar virtuosos. Same w/ limp bizkit, slipknow, et al. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
