Greetings! Just wanted to make an official post here to let you guys know I have rejoined the ranks of the living. My new job has settled down, so I bought JK3 tonight. Sometime in the near future (once I figure some stuff out here...now what's that button do?) I will get back online and my arse will be officially open for kicking. 1. I see a new and much improved site. Kudos to DJ! 2. I also see that the Holocron has lived through the tumultous changeover to JK3. Man, I'm happy to see this... I was afraid that interest would wane. You guys rock! 3. Thanks to everyone for your kinds words on my profile. I was unable to view them until last night since I finally got my internet service up and running, and I was unable to access the JA from work (blocked). 4. I'd be interested in helping with the Holocron again. <rolls up sleeves> What can I sink my teeth into? And what's the command structure here? Man, it's great to be back. 1. I know MoS was having some personal issues, so I'm not surprised he had to take off for a while. Yeah, I knew about Aeth. Took off just before I did. Both were great guys. Sorry to see them go. 2. Coordinator-business: hey...I don't wanna push my way around here. You 2 guys have been designated co-coordinators, and that is just mighty fine by me. However, if, and that's IF, you two and others have a desire for slight lead modifications, I might be coerced to take on any role you deem appropriate. 3. Student intro program: new part of the ja site should do the trick. You need someone to take over the role of "assigner." Until the new section is here, you might have the assigner contact DJ directly and ask for each upcoming noob a) name; and b) gmt offset. The assigner then takes the people and matches them up. Might also wanna have them follow up to make sure everything is going ok...vets are doing their jobs, noobs are satisfied with the program. 4. Later? Heck, I just got off the phone with my fiance, so I didn't even read the thing for a while. Oh, yeah: I'm getting married! May 2005. 5. Job: going well. The other week, tho, I logged 73.5 hours. That's a little much. This really shouldn't be on the Holocron section, but I guess this is where people normally see me anyway... -rh _______________ Back from the dead... |

MoS kinda left without warning, so we were floating around for a minute there. Aeth left a while ago... a long while ago. I have a bar now. Okay, then recently, doobie said he wants to resume it. So, people started volunteering, two of them being Exar and myself. Lo and behold, we are co-ordinators. We got to working. Figured out who we needed, what we needed to update, etc. etc. We got that and people, as far as I know, are somewhat working on their parts. We gots editors a plenty. The only immediate section I know that we need someone on is Power Duelling.I am, slowly but surely, in the process of putting the Holocron onto the site. I know weapons are going to be a bear, because I looked at what I needed to do. But, my goal is to have that up and something else this next weekend. Ruuk, good to have you back. It'd be great to have you back as lead / tri-lead cooridinator ! What you say, Exar?How's your job going, by the way? EDIT: C'mon now, Monkey! Don't talk down on yeself! Those interviews will get up after I get the rest of the original holocron up . Not important? Pah.EDIT2: Sorry I was a little later than 45 minutes. Got tied up. Anyhoo, Student Intro Prog (head guy of that still ) is doing nicely. There's a section of the site showing who's new coming sometime and that will help tremendously.
