Some of you might know/have heard that the Ice Hockey World Championchips 2004 are currently taking place in the Czech Republic. I would like people to guess which country wins it, and see how much people know about the sport..
So you can vote for your favourite to win, and post suggestions of who will meet in the finals. If you want, you can also add the result of the final match between the teams you nominated..

On the basis of the most recent matches I've watched on TV, I'm quite confident when I'm stating that the Slovakian republic has the best team at their hands. They have all their nations big stars except Peter Bondra..
But they play like individuals, not like a team like most of the other nations. In game they mostly just use 2 lineups, so this could be the key how to bring them down.. My guess is still that Slovakia will win the tournament, though they aren't my favourite team. I believe we all cheer strongly on our own nations, but we probably still have some teams we admit are stronger than our own favourites.. I would like you all to post those aswell, I'll give you the format and you just simply follow =)
BTW. I'm building a statistics so it would be great to have as many people as possible, telling me their fav's.

I vote for Sweden. They usually win everything on the ClanBase ladders, so why wouldn't they win this?

I just don't know anything about ice hockey.

GO FINLAND GO! GO FINLAND GO! Seriously, they have a good team finally, and with Teemu Selänne possibly joining, it's so gonna be our competition. But Czech, Slovakia, Canada, they're all strong too. The best thing about the hockey games is the large screens in the city center and the beer.
