Bioware is partial in the development, they own the company that's working on it, btw, can someone like pm me about how to get bastila to "love" you, i never succeded, and i completed the game 4 times, with different alignments and playing styles |

Uggg I hope they make KOTOR 2 more rpg-like. Character development sucked (max level 20 - OMFG!!), and there was no real choices in class. The skills were pretty good I guess, but the range of equipment was so small I could have puked. The story was far too short, yet the levels went on for ages, and got really repeatitive. The lack of real side quests cut down the depth of the game a lot too, although I guess once you got character stories going you could play for a bit more. There were also no random battles, so theoretically you would get to exactly the same level if you played again and killed all the same monsters. The light or dark side choice was pretty limp, considering it only really took effect at the very end of the game. *Edited out by Buzz*. Swoop racing was a fair minigame, although it would have been nice to have a ship you could customize, or something that could alter possible ship stats. And of course, go around in 3rd person was too much brimming on an action game, like JA, apart from the attack commands. /end rant. *please don't post major plot points like that. I'm saddened by the fact the Bioware isn't doing it either, but look at it this way, maybe it'll be a good thing, we'll get to see the starwars games from a different perspective and artistic flavour...I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like. _______________ Look unto me for I possess the blue flag!! Quote: KotOR was enjoyable, yes, but for someone that's been playing D&D games for years it was a tad 'old and repetitive.' I'm curious to see how Lucas Arts might alleviate this problem in KotOR II. Yes, I understand you, bro...Well, for the most part.I do enjoy AD&D games, like Planscape Torment, The EPIC trilogy of --=Baldur's Gate=--, Icewind dale (1&2),A bard's tale, Betrayal at Krondor,TES Arena&Daggerfall(not quite AD&D buuuut...) and even that pathetic excuse of a RPG, Temple of elemental Evil.I loathed Neverwinter Nights.WTF?!I expected something more. And what about BG-Dark Alliance(console:mad. The shame of it all!Death to the consoles!!!Yoda din't use a console and he shure won't.The bloody device is evil, pure evil! And then came KOTOR.Nice, nice!But...still too simple and consolish. The story was nice, but there were some things I did not like. What do I hear?KOTOR2.I like the ideea of playing a dark jedi(finnaly).Unfortunatley, the game won't be made by Bioware.BOOOOOO!!!No Bioware<=> no cool story and feeling.I am very pesimistic about KOTOR2 _______________ All your Force are belong to us!!! |

KotOR was enjoyable, yes, but for someone that's been playing D&D games for years it was a tad 'old and repetitive.' I'm curious to see how Lucas Arts might alleviate this problem in KotOR II. The screenshots I've seen of lightsaber combat in KotOR II seem a lot better than those from KotOR, and I hear you start out as a Jedi and choose more advanced Jedi classes later in the game... woot. |

Yeah, that's what would be cool, to see planets we know from the books or movies thousands of years before we see or read about them, so we get to know some more history about the planets. |
