Hello, i was wondering about all the ppl who play swg, most ppl in the academy are on eclipse but some chose differently, the Mcplenus Assciation well seems to have silented, as the website has not been updated since before it came out. Could all of you players state ur name and server and maybe proffessions, Maybe we could go hunting together, and when the space expansion comes out, w00t that'll be wicked. Thanks Alucard! But I think I'll be in fairly good standing soon... I may be joining the Fringe Runners guild. They're based in Last Oasis on Tattooine. I think that if I hang with them awhile, I'll be able to better establish myself. I have changed my mind about something though... While I originally wanted to become a Smuggler/Pistoleer, I recently took scout for something to do on the side while I shot things. It's going surprisingly well, so I think I'll be ditching the whole Smuggler/Brawler part and going for Master Scout. I checked an online skill planner, and it seems I would be able to Master Pistoleer, Scout, Marksman, and get all 4 Bounty Pistol blocks, as well as 3 of the Investigation blocks. While I originally wanted to avoid BH because there are soooo many, I think my character concept is cool/fun enough to make me happy. EDIT: OH! The thing that will set me apart from the normal BH's: I won't wear armor. (I'm perfectly happy with my Black Gunman's Duster.) So unlike the composite-cookie-cutter-look-alikes, I'll be STYLIN'! lol I hate unarmed fighting... It's going to be difficult to reach smuggler because I'm going to have to stop using my pistols for a while. (I just bought a new one too!) Once that's over with though, I'll be plenty happy. I may need to go on a LOT more missions though, because I bought one friend a swoop and gave another guy my spare x34 landspeeder. (I felt charitable considering I had 50k in the bank!) However, I just dropped 35k on a new gun, so back to missions for the rebellion.  Once I make the top rank, maybe I'll start using the faction points for something else, like say... Unarmed training. |

It's alright though monty... I spent all day yesterday mugging imperials in the rebel missions. Since I have about 30k now, I'd say I've about made up for the stormie mugging. That doesn't mean I'm about to stop smoking Imps though. EDIT: Oh, and she pays the bill... So it's kinda good and bad. On one hand, she steals my computer half the day. Oh and fyi, I was reading the DE forums and some group took out the DWB (death watch bunker) with 20 droids. If you have any DE friends (DE is really expensive hehe) see if you can get some R3 tanks (all auto-repair and one combat module) and power droid to recharge them... Also, if you are a ranger you can camo and solo the corvette.... Anyway, what forums do you guys use? Me uses the official site, swg.allakhazam.com, bloodfin.org. |
