I was in the Peace Corps and lived in a mud brick house with a corrogated aluminum roof, i.e. a giant solar oven. It heated up in the scorching sun all day, and the bricks radiated the heat until about 5:00 a.m. So even during the "cold" season, when it sometimes got down to the mid-30s (Farenheit) it was better to sleep outside on a mat looking up at the stars. Because there were scorpions, you better believe I always wore shoes outdoors. So yeah, many times. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |
