Let me pull out my Dark Jedi philosophy .wps and cut and paste, used it to convince a new jedi on SWG to go dark. Codes of the Sith * Loyalty - unquestioning loyalty is expected of Sith Apprentices to their Master (Unless the Master is weak), and the Master is expected to adhere to the goals of the Sith Order, namely its perpetuation and increase in its power. * Discipline - which goes hand in hand with loyalty. The anarchic nature of the power of the Dark Side means that military-like discipline is required in order for the Sith to be effective. * Stealth - which goes hand in hand with discipline. The Sith survived for centuries by remaining in shadow, only allowing themselves to emerge when the time was right. * Cunning - which often goes hand in hand with stealth. The most effective strategems often involve not being able to see the hand of the strategist in events as they occur. Peace is a lie, there's only passion Through passion I gain strength Through strength I gain power Through power I gain victory Through victory my chains are broken The Force shall set me free The Book of the Dark Introduction ------------ Many will wonder how I could have come to have written this. My history would shed no light on the subject for them; they would find no moment that my path into darkness was chosen. This expresses the truth of the Force, as do all things. It is not for them that I write this, nor is it for those with whom I shall leave these words. One of the powers I have gained is that of foreknowledge, and the one for whom I write these words has not yet been born, and shall never meet me. Many will read these words, but few will understand, and fewer still will learn from them. Chapter One ----------- Which is greater, the light or the dark? O foolish one! Which do you think is better, the road that leads to the city, or the one to the country? Thus it is with light and darkness; the paths are unimportant; it is the goals that matter. The path of light will lead you to knowledge, and to peace, but will ask you to give up your self. The path of darkness leads to power, and strife, but asks you to give up others. What are your goals? What do you seek? Answer this and you will know which is greater. Chapter Two ----------- You have been told that there are two paths to the Force; a path of light and a path of darkness. I tell you that is a lie. There is only one path. Why is it said that there are two paths? Those who say this have confused the path with the traveller. The path leads you to your true self; that is all. Chapter Three ------------- Do not be bound by what others tell you; why should you trust their judgement over yours? People look at something, and say it is impossible before they try it. Doing this, they limit themselves. Limiting themselves, they become less powerful. To follow the dark is to follow power; why then should you limit yourself? Remember: the future is yours to choose, and so is the past. Chapter Four ------------ Before you can learn to heal others, you must learn to heal yourself. Before you can learn to control others, you must learn to control yourself. Before you can learn to destroy others, you must learn to destroy yourself. The path to darkness is not an easy one; To walk this road you must destroy love, obliterate mercy, forswear hope. Be like a force of nature; the tornado does not care what it destroys, nor what harm it does to itself. Chapter Five ------------ The dark side is powerful, but it asks much of its disciples. You cannot make another hate without hating yourself; You cannot send pain without feeling it; You cannot kill another unless you have killed yourself. To die yet live is the secret of the dark. Chapter Six ----------- The Master said unto me: I will give you what no eye has ever seen and it will consume you. You will burn in it. and he said: Destroy yourself, and none other shall destroy you. and: All that I have told you is lies. Shatter yourself, and find the truth. Chapter Seven ------------- The Force is a well that never runs dry, but you will find that it is a well of your own blood. Embrace the darkness and feed upon the lives of others; Embrace the darkness and break yourself upon the wheel; Embrace the darkness and find that which was lost; The light will not help you; it will abandon you when you most need it. Embrace the darkness, and be truly whole. Chapter Eight ------------- Once there was a good king, who ruled his land wisely and justly. His people were neither wise nor just, and they ridiculed him as a fool. When he died he was soon forgotten, not even his name remains. What does the light have to offer? All it gives is peace of the heart. Cast your heart aside, and follow the dark. Chapter Nine ------------ The weak serve the strong, because that is the Way. The strong govern the weak, because that is the Way. Nothing lasts forever; time will bring all of us to our deaths. Only those who have already died may hope to escape. The path of darkness is not for weaklings, nor for fools; Only those who are strong in hate and anger may survive. Light is a unnatural thing; It comes from a source external. It has a beginning and an end. It defines the dark. Before all light is dark, Beyond all light is dark. To live in light is to serve Space, to follow Time.
