Yes, you need a credit card to sign up for the free trial. All MMOs that go through SOE's account registration system require an active credit card, and SWG goes through SOE's registration system. |

I renewed my subscription a couple months ago and promptly cancelled after one week (maybe less). I'll just say imo that the game is still in beta. They are completely redoing all the classes. It's one thing to always be fixing bugs and adding content. But it's still a beta when a company is writing/rewriting the core game design. Bleh... They'll need to do a lot more than give out 14 day free trials to get me playing it again. Something like, say.... Fix most of the problems with that game.. But hey, scrapping SWG and restarting from scratch would be easier. This comment was edited by Ex-Rauc on Jun 24 2004 12:52am. |
