Ok, so I want you all to tell me about the most unbelieving thing ever happened to you or someone you know.. This can be both positive or negative things.. I hope though we only get the positive things up, and keep this as a "living those moments once again" -thread..

Ok so my most unbelievable moment was about 3-4 years ago, when I won 20 000 fmk (~3200€) in a contest my mom signed me to..
Another great moment was when I first met up with my GF, and I value this much more than the money I got..

Now just keep telling yours.. Let's make this a 'reader-friendly' thread

The short version:

This one is easy for me. Going up the Statue of Liberty and proposing to my now wife in the crown!

and the long one!

I'm rarely quiet ('cept when listening to Linlei on TS) but the climb up the spiral staircase my mind just ran through what i was going to say.

"Ellie you have made me so happy....." NO
"I have loved you since the day ....." NO
etc etc

By the time we reached the top my mind was blank and i was shocked at how small it is up there. Anyway we had our photo taken and I look scared and my wife is beaming. My wife then took a photo for another couple while i frantically tried to fish the ring out of my pocket. Hoping that i could retrieve it before she headed down the stairs again.

She turns around as i drop to one knee and Simply say: "Ellie I love you will you marry me?"

Now the funny bit she is initially shocked, seeing me down there, thinking i have fallen down due to vertigo, but soon realises whats happeneing and starts crying. Time was irrelevant but we must have stayed like that for a while as people started shouting up the stairs to "GET A MOVE ON".

A lady standing behind my wife who had seen me propose shouted down "SHUT UP SOME GUYS JUST PROPOSED TO HIS GIRLFREIND". This was followed by a round of applause from the stairs, with one solitary voice: "WHAT DID SHE SAY?" (clever dick!)

The lady being helpful, then asked my wife who was still crying "what did you say" . To say this scared me was an understatment. Luckily she said"Yes, yes" and the lady shouted this back down the stairs which was followed by another round of appluase.

I still shake just thinking about it. We had our photo taken me beaming and my wife crying.

The most unbelievable moment of I've had, was when my friends were over, and we were watching Game 4 (i think) of the spurs vs. lakers quarter-finals this year. Within the last 3 seconds, Tim Duncan made this out of no where shot that made it in, my friends that liked the spurs were all cheering, all like "WE WON WE WON WOWOWOWOW". all my laker fan friends began walking away back upstairs to grab a coke because they knew it was over. BUT THEN...out of nowhere derek fisher made this crazy shot like...out of nowhere (again

) and i was like "WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW SCHWEET" and all jumpy and excited, and my laker fan friends never saw it

Also, another time was during the semi finals of the tri city basketball championship, i passed the ball to my friend in the last 3 seconds, and he made a half court shot and tripped. and the simple sound was "Swish", it was awesome

hehe yeah it can be pretty nice to unexpectedly win a duel against all odds. it happened to me in my second class here in the JA. it was about dueling advice & tactics, and I killed the instructor

but a seriously good moment was when we performed for the first time with our band for a small audience - like 200 people - and all were like WTF - this is actually good stuff!

felt amazing...

The greatest moment of my life was winning my 1st duel in the jedi academy against someone over twice my age. (im joking im joking) i'm not gonna say the real best thing in my life.Too embarrassing.

When I was 20, and loved a woman like I never thought I could... She went on to break my heart (instead of marrying me as I wanted), nay, she crushed my heart...no, no...she ripped my heart out of my chest and tore it asunder!

However, my time with her has been, and always will be one of my fondest memories. I hope she is happy now where ever she is.

My most memorable moment was more than just a moment. it was 13 years of my life, the first 13, while my grandad was alive, he was the best man i ever knew. Im 15 now and i still wish he was here and i became so attached to him that i sometimes still say "Hi Grandad" when i walk through my grans door. I know this sounds sad and depressing but it is the thing that makes me happy, knowing i knew a man that made me smile so much, and i just hope that when i die someone else will think the same of me
