Check it out: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/ These are complete development tools that cover individual areas of the Visual Studio product. You can use them to learn from if you are a student or are new to programming with Visual Studio .NET. I believe the downloads are free. This would be much cheaper than slapping down the cash for the full VS.NET product, then finding out it isn't what you wanted. _______________ Gone but hopefully not forgotten... |

the VS.NET 2003 IDE is very good, I got the .net2003 pro from my school, great ide/compiler and debugger. At at every Community College and University I know they sell VS.Net Pro 2003 ( blah blah, yadda ) for about $50. I just picked up Winblows XP for $15. and Office XP for $20. <RANT> I hate school bastard teachers make us use .NET and save out project as a VC++ solution file (.sln) so if the TA cant open the ( or doesnt see ) the .sln file you get a 0 for that program. Man I hate fascist teachers, near the end of the year when you get to "review" your proffesor, I think a kick to the crotch should be a valid revew.
