Hey everybody again. Well today I went in for my driving permit test and I passed, so now I can drive with a licensed adult woot. The bad news is... I have to correct my vision, so the question is... contacts or glasses? Which do you prefer (if you wear them) and why? I wore glasses for a few years, until I lost them in the wave pool over at the theme park around here, so then I went to my contacts. Glasses PROS: Simple to put on You'll probably get them on right the first time Easy to get used to If you put them on backwards, you could probably tell CONS: If a screw comes loose and falls out, they're small. If you are fortunate enough to find it, make sure you have a glasses screwdriver. Fingerprints Can make your face look fat, "nerdy", or "smart" Can fog up Have to buy perscription or clip on sunglasses Contacts PROS: You'll look like you did before. Don't fog up Can keep your old sunglasses CONS Tear easily Have to stick them in solution every night (preferably fresh) If you put them on backwards, you WILL know. Make sure your fingers are clean, because dust can get in there when you are trying to put them in, and when you do stick it in your eye, you will hate yourself. (For even more fun, do so with the lens backwards. Not. Fun.) Conclusion: I use them both, generally glasses for being a bum, contacts for the public. oh btw Glasses may look annoying if you have never weared glasses before but when you have them on your nose for about an hour, you even forget it's there, and don't notice it anymore it's just a bit weird in the beginning, but it catches on so quick  _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website! I've never tried contacts, wouldn't know.. they might look less nerdy, but you automatically look smart with glasses (unless you're unfortunate enough to fall into the 5% category that doesn't). But if you wear them all the way down on the tip of your nose, you'll get comments for it.... trust me.... |
