lo.

i've been wondering how many of you have spotted jk moves in the sw films and if you have, what moves?

there are of course the dfa's (medium stance jump-special) that obi-wan does in episode 1 in the "duel of fates" and the butterfly attacks darth maul performs (at least side butterfly attack). i also spotted a leap (strong stance jump-special) performed by some jedi in the backround during the massive fight in the arena in episode 2. we all remember the saber throw which darth vader does in "return of the jedi" and then there are the saberlocks.

have you noticed any other moves which can also be done in the jk-series? if you have, which movie, what character, where and when?

maybe we'll see anakin fight against obi-wan in episode 3 with that lunge spam -style we all know from jk2 :D

of course, the slower you hit, the more flesh the saber has time to burn :D

and to be exact.. in jkja medium stance usually beats the slower strong stance.

In Episode 1, Darth Maul also does the forward staff butterfly move, albeit much quicker than the game animation. In Episode 2, Yoda does the blue spin attack on Dooku. Also in Ep. 2, Anakin does the dual saber helicopter move on Dooku.

Really, the game lacks any kind of reality at all in the saber moves. Its all mainly made up B.S. Why would a strong swing be slower, for instance? When Luke was kicking Vader's ass, just before he cut Vader's hand off, he was attacking like a maniac. Very fast! I think the idiots who made the game just play baseball too much because that's what the single saber feels like to me. A baseball bat. They forgot light has no mass! Only a clash would stop the saber and need strength behind it. They should have modelled saber fighting after duelling with foils. Quick, sharp movements, with many blocks. In the movies, the fastest jedi won, not someone who uses a roundhouse swing.

There's a parrying way with the dual sabers on which you don't move them, you just turn around while holding them still in your hands. That movement is performed by Anakin while he fights Dooku in EPII. That series of attacks with single saber, yellow (medium) stance while you're walking forward look pretty much like the way Luke attacks Vader before he severes his hand at the Death Star on EP VI.

well most moves have been taken from the films and added to the game but at least the leap in episode 2 is executed in a very similar way that it is done already in jk2.

so let me rephrase this... what moves have you seen in both, jk-series and in sw-films? ^_^
