That man knows how to make a movie dark and depressing, which should fit batman just fine. Plus Christian Bale is pretty friggin awesome too. Hell yes! Momento rocks! |

Yes maybe we could raise our expectations, because Nolan directed it, but I doubt it. This movie has been "in the works" forever. It was originally going to be a "very" dark tale, and was going to be directed by Darren Aronofsky. After to many differences between him and (insert who a direct would have issues with studio, execs, etc) it was abondoned, then after Nolan sigened on, the bad guy was going to be "The Scarecrow" and now we arrive at this, lets just say anything that has gone through that many changes, Im not going in with high hopes. _______________ Silent Bob (Kevin Smith): You know, there's a million fine looking women in the world, dude. there will be a Police Acadamy 8 in 2006. all the Police academy movies sucked except the FIRST one. the same story with Batman. the first one was awesome.(Tim Burton did a great job) the new one is gonna suck. and look at the BATCAR. it looks CRAPPY! right. _______________ -Evil Clown- "We interrupt this program to increase dramatic tension." Agreed with Monty, I loved Christian Bale in Equilibrium. But he does a funny thing when talks, with his toungue, not quite sure how to explain it though EDIT: but I still think this Batman will be cool This comment was edited by Fire on Aug 09 2004 03:40am. |

I think there's a chance for this being good. First off the trailer is only a teaser. It doesnt show basically anything because thats what teasers do, they tease. I am going to raise my expectations a bit higher then most and say that it probably will be good. The guy playing Batman is a fookin good actor, Christian Bale pwns in such movies as, American Pyscho, Reign of Fire, Equilibirum. Of course this movie will suck and will never beat the original, but keaton got out at the right time, kilmer sucked, as did george Clooney, Christian Bale isnt the obvious choice for batman in my eyes so it might just turn out to be better than expected, altho the trialer or teaser hehe looks terrible _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are
