Bail Hope of Belouve
It took me a few days, but I finally saw all 10 episodes (there are only ten right?)

Anyway, I think this is the best I've ever seen when it comes to war-movies.

It can make you smile, cry, and really get the feeling of a war.

It also reminds us what happened, and what those people sacrificed to help us.

Anyone else seen it?

Yup, me too

I just saw the Episode Replacements (Ep.4) again, wonderful, just wonderful

also, I think I just found one error.
I doubt that in Holland there is a french cafe, but besides that, even all talk was in real Dutch by the native. Accent and all.
Very well done

yup Bail I know where you are coming from :D

A very moving series I agree. It was also quite well balanced... a few action sequences and a good bit of storyline in between for historical background and emotive attachment to the characters. Very well done :)

did anyone else experience the fact that it's very hard to take Mister Sobel serious?:D

For those that don't know, Sobel is played by Ross from friends, which gives some very nice laughs when he acts to be angry. I had a hard time taking that guy serious, to be honest.

Did any one else experience that?

My favorite had to be the run on those gun encampments, went they are running through the trenches and such. I think that's Episode 3. It was cool, because about a week later I started playing Call of Duty and you play a mission based on that actual event. s3x. *is proud owner of the DVDs*

I love that mission. :D

that was episode 2, and yes, that is a great one.
Especially if you know they still teach that particular event to the soldiers these days.

Easy Company really set the example for everyone.

At the beginning they even let the real people describe what they felt and stuff

It's pretty scary to know that those men actually lived through that ...

As in "fudged up" turned into... well, you know. It's just that you'd hear the occasional BS and the sorts and all on the History Channel, but you didn't have near as many expletives, and it was dubbed very well, I guess if I didn't notice it. Then I put on the DVD and Bill Guarnere had an even bigger potty mouth. Those crazy people at HBO...

Just watch out for Ep. 9, since that's where they accidently find a concentration camp for Jews which was burned with the Jews still inside.
Quite a scary picture. Enough for some nightmares
