Yes yes, after a long ordeal of mapping, caffine and prescription drugs, Beta 3 is finally here. This is basically the Pre-Final Map guys, so nothing else will be added. The next step is just fixing small bugs and giving it proper lighting. So yeah. Grab the Map here and get your butts onto the Servers for some public testing and fun. YAY! |

lol I can't find the park area at first but... yet again GREAT map but just 1 problem it took me a while to get to the end of the movement thingy under the waterfall. lol its totally awesome especially the tower!!! feels like the old jedi council building in corusant!! and that basement sure is errie~~~ what are those wampas for??? some graphics problem though....especially in the tower again when you look out of the windows, and also the signs and maybe add a teleport in those pits in the track so people who can't make the jump can get out without dying?  _______________ I'm leaving, on a jet plane~ This comment was edited by Frosty on Feb 21 2004 06:53pm. |

Ok it seems like I can post before Sared but we will actually say the same things. As a map generally it's good and all the extra textures are cool. But as a JK map, it doesn't give the feeling of a JK game; something like a duke nukem or quake. Some parts are not needed, and you'll see that in Faded's review of the map. Plz read that. Although DC's map was waaaaaay smaller, it gave the feeling of a JK map. The beta3 (and I must say beta2) are less of JK style maps. They're ok for public use and JA fun though, I must admit I don't critisize your work Virtue and Faded, this map is really good and I appreciate the time you have spent on it. A lot of the textures are misaligned, especially the signs. The tower has leaks/areaportal issues. You shouldn't need to push a button to open the door to the tower lift. Except for the minor technical glitches it's great. I can't wait to see the final cut. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |
