Just wanted to let everyone know, I'm taking a break from the Academy. I'm extremely tired of all the politics all the people who make threats because of other people, all the people who don't appreciate what we do and instead get caught up in petty little crap. And no, this isn't because of one isolated instance, it's been building up for a long time. Maybe my absence will help all of you doing these things to realize THIS IS A FREAKING GAME, AND A FREAKING WEBSITE FOR A GAME. WE'RE HERE TO LEARN AND HAVE FUN, NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN PETTY TITLES, RANKS, AND ARGUMENTS!!! I'll probably be back at some point, but until then, I'm spreading "leadership" around the remaining council members, and I have faith that they'll be able to keep things running smoothly. -update from a slightly less PO'd DJ  -Politics are unavoidable when you have a tiered management system like we have here (knights, trainers, council, staff). I know it's going to happen, but please try to keep that kind of stuff to a bare minimum. Remember we're all here to play games and have fun.  Enjoy your break, boss. Go bowling alot! |

Alright Doobie, I find it hilarious your turning tail and running away right now. Your right this is a "Freaking Game" and a "Freaking Game Community". So how is it that YOU could possibly take all the "POLITICS" seriously. This is not REAL Politics. These are the rants and raves of a bunch of people with nothing better to do. This is not LIFE and DEATH here man. Get over it. If the "Politics and Drama" here at JA are your biggest problems, then brotha, you dont have problems. Here is an idea. Work to make things better. Nix all the POLITICS and DRAMA right off the bat. You dont like what people do and say? Then make a new law that states if you want DRAMA, find it elsewhere. And Enforce it. But to turn tail and run? This is our Fearless Leader? Sorry man, but I dont support it. You got issues? FIX IT THEN. Like it would be that hard.... No, I think this is about something else, and if it is not....then like I said before, YOU DONT HAVE PROBLEMS. Hope you come back and turn this place around, because if you don't then NO ONE will, except Virtue. He definitley has the potential to be a greater leader than anyone else here. Maybe I just don't spend enough time around, but I haven't noticed much in the way of politics. Some very worthwhile people are being promoted to positions they deserve and there's always going to be a bit of confusion among the newcomers as to exactly what the ranks mean, but that's all I've noticed. I feel responsible as should we all. This is just a game, and I love it. But it is sad that we have driven you to this...so I want to start with an appology...too much sillyness for the sake of it. Doobs, I totally understand where you are coming from. I hope you read my post in our threads because I feel the same exact way as you. This is a GAME!!
