Finally it has been released! This has definitely been a long road in the process and I want to thank everyone for sticking with me. As a token of my goodwill, the documentation explains how to obtain the JAE Mod source for your own modifications. w00t! So server admins, grab the JAE Mod 1.0 and start hosting. Do you guys have any idea on how to enable the game logs for JAE 1.0? seta logfile "3" seta g_logClientInfo "1" seta g_logsync 1 seta g_log "jkafm3.log" seta g_statLog "0" seta g_statLogFile "jkafm3.log" Doesn't seem to be working. Yes a very good mod indeed. To comment on saber dmgs. I adjusted the saber dmgs on JAE 0.5 and when I upgraded to 1.0, I left the customized dmgs in place. I didn't notice any change in the dmgs after installing 1.0. It could be as Setementor said before, the distro of linux that is being run. For some reference, Zaraki mentioned that E.T. ran CentOS... Our provider (emsgaming) runs RedHat 9.0 with kernel 2.6. Since we've had the server the kernel has been upgraded twice. Both times did not affect saber dmgs on our server. Perhaps it seems the saber dmgs are high, you could customize the dmgs (lower them) so they suit your needs more. And I've said this before on the forum: Yippee! c1 and JAE rules! c1 is the best |

This is good mod, For the sake, give the hand for scripting/modding/producting team and make sure that is big one P.S I am under the impression Chosenone=scripting/modding/producting team. Zakari, something that might be worth the effort is running basejka and JAE 1.0 servers back2back on that box. If you're only allowed to run 1 server, then you'll just have to go through the pain of switching the mod on and off. This will allow you to see base and JAE on the same OS, same box. Then if there are variations, you will know it is mod related. Remember to clear out your server's ghosted config files and load only what your set cfgs set. |

I've no idea how to actually fix it or anything. Apart from Windows XP, which is currently running on my computer, I don't know anything about Operating Systems, but there are several things that still bring me to such a conclusion. |

When i played on JAE 1.0 the damages seemed normal to mee, acctualy much better then in 0.5. This comment was edited by Vision on Apr 16 2006 06:38am. |

The reason I say that is because myself and a couple of others did a test. JAE was just like base on some OS', but not on all of them, meaning it's either an OS issue, or the mod just doesn't support that OS version at all. As for the saber code, it doesn't appear it has been modified, so it's most likely got to be one of the two. |

Hey, Um well I'm not sure at all- looking at the other reply by Setementor, he/she says that it might be the OS thats causing the problems... well why would that really happne if the code is pretty much the same o.O The mod is running on a linux server (RedHat distro), same server as JAE 0.5 was running on. There have been absolutely no changes to the damages- we are using the config that the mod comes up o.O, only thing we changed were the weapons to be allowed, motd, server name and etc- nothing relating to damages. Yet, now everyone does 1 ko hits on our server lol- and when they go to a base server (our BWN server in TFFA mode or duel mode) they can't do any KO's XD (nub? ) If it is the OS that is causing the problem- how on earth do we go about fixing it? Now, once we upgraded to JAE 1.0, the damages are like JA+ MP damages So high! I can spin with 1 red swing and kill a person. I can touch my opponent with staff and kill them! Whats going on? What happned to the good o'l base damages!
