Greetings. I hope you enjoy your time on the server. If you're having problems connecting check our FAQ page on how to connect ot a server:

I have a zip file of the huge amount of skins on the server at: http://academy.jediknightii.net/files/djs_server_pack.zip The server pack is over 220M right now, so I'll probably break it up into smaller zip files at a later point. I update the server pack as often as I can. If you have any questions other than the ones above feel free to post em and I or one of the other Academy members will help you. but actually that would take like A MILLION YEARS just to assign every single person a skin, maybe you would just post a news update about assining skins and the people who replie about the skin they use they wwill get assigned to that skin |

Senaku, you got it right, and I like the idea of having a base skin for everyone. You can play around with the other skins on the server, but don't request skins just so you can have a wider variety to play around with.... |

if your gonna be seeing me around the academy your gonna be seeing me as the red mandalorian, and that is a good idea to assign skins like aalya secura uses the aalya secura skin (i'm sorry if i got your name wrong) any way every time i see you u use that skin so it's a good idea to assign skins to people.......... |

I will continue to use the tyrion version! I'm not big on playing as known Star Wars figures, I just think that a lot of the tyrion repaints are awesome!
Tyrion is just *In my opinion* one of the best built models. It just looks cool.
So unless the new versions are better than the tyrion versions, I will continue using the tyrion versions.  |

lol Maybe we all should pick out a few favorite skins and models and burn the rest. I just want the tyrion model, and the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan tyrion skins. The rest I dont much care about. OOO ooo... Except Gallimar. That's my Sith persona.

" The assigning skins seems like a decent idea, but we really shouldn't force someone to stick to one or two skins. Sometimes I'm just in a mood to play as some other skin, just to goof off. With the power rangers skin, I thought of that, but hence why I said 10 votes, so that yes, only 2 people might USE an obscure skin (like Gundam), but 4 other people LIKE the skin, they just don't use it (and I like the skin, just don't use it). Allowing 10 votes and eliminating those that don't get 5 would erase the possibility of people being silly (unless five people get silly and vote for the power ranger skins. But if that happens, we can do two things: 1) allow their input to be heard, as a member, and keep them, or 2) throw the skins anyways, and say "Sorry, but..." So...but where's DJ on this subject? He's probably watching in all his luminous presence, but would he bless us with a comment at all? I know you're out there! _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. I say don't even use 10 votes...
Use 2. Primary and Secondary.... First cut any that get no votes.... That alone should help alot.... Perhaps we could assign skins??? That way someone doesn't vote for Power Rangers skin just to be silly, because you'd have to be seen with whichever skin you voted for.... Remember, there are several .pk3s with multiple skins in them such as Mandalorian, Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura, and Tyrion..... |

And in truth, I want to see a skin I like, Exar Kun 2.0, put up. But....I don't want to toss the 1.0, because that's cool, and...
If I get MINE put up, everyone else should be able to get THEIRS put up, and that makes for a long list of skins. I'm cool, yes, but not THAT cool to get my own special favors on skins. All should be equally considered. So hence my thought to toss some skins (that sounds bad) to make room. So that others can have their skin likes/dislikes heard, since this place is about everyone, not just me, and not just a select few. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. Yes, a lot of people do use that, or like it (it has my vote)...
But if a skin cannot get 5 votes for people liking it (and they get 10), then it should go. Some skins might get exceptions, like the basic ones, and some "JAT Picks". (Zero Knight is the bomb) It would be foolish to keep the non-used skins, but even more foolish to toss something like the Mandalorian pack, because that IS popular. And....there are some skins out there, that have since had a bug fix, so one might update to that, since there are no skin changes, only a bug fix. I can understand not getting something that has a skin change like, say, the new stormtrooper pack, because, yes, they are done with enhanced color, but some like the old color. But someone can submit something like that once we clear off some less-used skins. Really, just find out which ones people like. It's like getting us to go through old clothes. "Do you like this shirt?" "No Mom, get rid of it." "What about this one, it's old?" "NOO! Keep that! I love that one!" Well, maybe not exactly like that, but same idea. Yes, there are a lot of skins.
And, I have found a couple that I like (well, two at best). But if we all keep submitting new skins, two things will happen. 1) the DJ Skin packs will be huge 2) it'll really clog up the servers So, I have a proposal (if you like, support it) Someone should place an item in the news, having people cast votes on all the current skins. They are allowed up to 10 votes. Any skin which does not get, say, 5 votes, gets cut. Then, we can open it up for new submissions. I understand that we wish to promote individual skins, but some need to be tossed. I would also like to see the server get updated versions of the skins, ones which primarily have bug fixes, not just look better. wondering if ne1 could help me with a problem im having on the server, everytime i move it says "connection interrupted." I on my schools network which has a fast connection, im also behind a fireware, ne help here would b hot _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber.
