Well, so here I am, it's almost 5 am local time and Im not a bit tired. So I'm browsing the forums, and suddenly I glance at the main site menu, at the symbol thingy in the background. And I suddenly realize, "hey I made that thing!" I've been checking the site on a daily basis for ages, and first now i see it. life is odd isn't it. especially when you are unable to sleep.

Here's the backstory for my character. When I saw Arcuss', I knew I had to make one myself, since I love roleplaying=) enjoy!
Silencio is the newest hunter-killer droid the empire has. It was created to swiftly deal with renegade dark troopers. It features a highly advanced exoskeleton, wich allows it to move swiftly and jump high, a cloaking device, The ability to repair itself, the ability to nullify dark side powers, wrist-mounted tractor beams, a built-in shield generator and thermal vision Silencio's first memory is lying on a table in an imperial lab. He percieves voices around him. "Actaivation succsessful", they say. It takes him but a split second to realize that he can think, and feel, something a droid normally can't do. A man in a grey uniform enters the room. "Stand up, -01." he says. "You know your objective, so lets get to it". An hour later, deep down in coruscant's urban jungle. A black cloaked figure walks calmly down what used to be a street. He walks without fear, because nothing down here can hurt him. He walks with the arrogance and pride of a dark jedi. Suddenly, something falls to the ground in front of him. He hears it clearly, but cannot see it. Not even through the force. "By imperial law..." a metallic voice speaks in front of him. "You have been scheduled for termination." The dark jedi simply laughed. "Do you know who I am?!" he asks, almost mocking the darkness in front of him. There is no answer, only the sound of a disruptor rifle powering up. Unit -01 walked slowly towards the imperial commander. In it's hand, the head of the man it was sent to kill. In it's other hand, hidden from view, the man's lightsaber. It had been impressed with how the man wielded the weapon. Such elegance, but unfortunately for the man, clouded with anger. It made a mental note to scan the libraries for records on how to properly use one. A week later Palpatine dead, Vader dead, and the Imperial fleet on the run. That was the reality Coruscant and the rest of the Galaxy was facing. But that didn't bother unit -01, or Silencio, as it now called itself. The name taken from a plating on it's chest: S173nc10-01 It had been ordered to search out every jedi it could find, and destroy them. It searched for some time, always piecing together information about the jedi. That is when it first heard of the Jedi Academy. The two x-wings followed the imperial shuttle closely. Silencio was amused by the humans frightened response to the lone shuttle. He exited, and asked to see Luke Skywalker. When he entered the large meditation chamber, he was a bit surprised over the calm, collected man walking towards him. THIS was the legendary Luke Skywalker? He looked more like a whiny farmboy, he thought. He considered attacking the jedi at once, but decided to wait for a better opportunity. He explained why he had come, to learn lightsaber teqniques. While Luke was quite uncertain about admitting him, he felt that as a "living" being, he deserved a chance. At first Silencio was happy just to learn how to swing a saber, but after having mastered that he became interested in the jedi philosophy, so he started studying that as well. He felt at pece in the academy. Nobody expected him to be anything but himself. His dilemma came when the dark jedi desann attacked the academy. Prior to that, he had recieveed an encoded transmission ordering him to aid in the attack. I used to work with a couple of fly by night general contractors. These two were some of the worst examples of wasted sperm I have ever known. Mean spirited and condescending all around A**Holes they were. Times were tight and they paid cash so I had to swallow pride, and hide my disdain. So as time went on I came to a point where I could no longer work with them and gave my notice. It's two weeks later and I ask for the pay they owed me, to which they replied "F**k off we don't owe you nothing". I left empty handed but not the least bit surprised by this. I'd see these guys everyday drive past me and chuckle and make cry baby faces at me. I'd smile and wave. I'd see them in a store or pub, and they'd heckle me. I'd say hello how are you guys doing, is business well. This went on for about a month. Then one day I'm walking down the street and I hear a voice call to me. As I turn around and see who it is I immediately smile and wave as I approach the truck. It was the leader of the two and he asked me to get in and go for a ride. As we are driving along he reaches into his pocket and hands me the money I earned and was due, and proceeded to apologize for being the waste of sperm that he is.(not in those words exactly)
You see by being kind even when they were nothing but a**holes I awakened an awareness in them. They finally began to realize that being cruel to others was not the answer they needed to make them feel better about themselves,and that perhaps there is another way to live life. A way that helps others feel better about themselves while also lifting your own spirit. A little something I like to call kindness. By being kind to them I killed the mean spirit with them, for a while anyway. In the end they returned to the a-holes they always were,which is unfortunate,and I ended up $600 richer. so what's the moral to this story?
