Hang on, I put it in my base folder, but 'the game wouldn't recognize the mapname. (Because I probably misspelled it, lol.) I think I went off to do something else for a minute. I'll have a look right now.
EDIT: Lol, I used the .pk3 filename, not the mapname to load it in. I like the map, I´m guessing it´s a duel map, right? I can see it having good potential of being one anyway. One critical note: there's a console to the left of the spawnplace that doesn't seem to have textures. (It's black.) All in all, I love it. I like how the walls are done as well - nicely detailed. To top it all there's a sort of electricity-shooting sphere on top of the generator, which looks awesome. Until I got too close as it made my screen flash white, lol, but then again I'm sure I'm not supposed to stand on it  Well done, nice work! _______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. Wow, nice job. It felt as if I were in space, in a space station, so you managed to catch the atmosphere there. I like the detail of it as well.
There are two minor issues I came accross, though. The first is a technical thingy.. if I ride the elevators up, there isn't any button to make the elevator come back when i want to go down. I can use wallgrab instead though. The other is the FPS. Usually, my FPS is 100 at max, but it was around 30 whereever I went. It's not a major issue, but I thought I should mention it. Hooowever, it's an awesome map as it is. You prooved you have a creative mind and know your way around with radiant. Good job! Oh, and, you should show me how to create consoles with lights & switches on it, like you did, sometime _______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. |
