Hey there!
After a quick search, this is what I found: Quote: r_pri autocompletes to r_primitives, which.. when given a value above 3, will completely 'stop' the rendering system, making your screen go blank.
Easiest way to fix it is to press the UP key (making the last entry appear.. so r_primitives 10), backspacing till the number is gone, typing 0 (so its r_primitives 0) and hit enter. List of commands not to do: /q, /qu, /qui, /automap_b 1, /disco, /r_pri (number). Hi T-bag,
I'm no expert to hosting servers, but here is some information that could be helpful. To create a server for JK:JA, try the following. Launch the game as usual, go to Play - Create a Game. There are some settings for the server here, such as choosing the map, bots and server name. Click on Advanced for more options. (Don't worry, 'Advanced' generally doesn't mean 'Difficult', it tends to mean 'more stuff.' ) In this screen, set your server up as you like and make sure you have the Internet option selected behind Dedicated Server. Now hit Done - Begin. You will return to your desktop and see the server console. Don't close it, just launch the game again and you should see your very own server under Local.
Remember, your server IP possibly isn't the same as the IP shown ingame. That's probably your local IP in your home network. Try googling 'view own IP' or something. I think that should do the trick. As for websites, you can take the easy way and go to, say, freewebs.com and create a website within five minutes. If you are interested in creating a website yourself, try looking into HMTL. Here is a website that might be helpful. It contains tutorials on other languages as well. My all-time favorite editor is simply Notepad btw, although there are other programs around that could help you. Frontpage Express or Dreamweaver could help, the latter being somewhat more professional. Anyhow, I hope that answers your questions. I'm not an expert in eitehr of these fields, but I hope it'll be enough information to get you started. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
