I will provide you with a guide. 
Fundamental Information First, you can take a look at the holocron here. Some of it may be outdated or for the older game Jedi Knight II, but just about all of it remains relevant for Jedi Academy as well and you will learn a lot there. Game Servers Once you've read that, you can go over to the servers page and get the IP and passwords to the servers, where you can connect to and play with people. Many people there will be willing to help and play with you. Before you connect to them, however, I recommend that you ensure you have read the rules here. Community From there, you can begin participating in the community. Visit the forums and ask questions, comment on articles and news, or join IRC if you want to chat or find someone to help you. Should you decide to join IRC chat, I would advise you to wait a while (more than a few minutes) for a response as sometimes people may be busy and preoccupied and unable to answer immediately. Classes For further training, you can go to the classes page here, find a class that interests you and if it's at a date and time that you can make, sign up for it and connect to the specified server at the time shown. Make sure that the timezone on your profile is set accurately for you, however, otherwise the class times may not show correctly for you. Seeking Personal Guidance Those unable to make it to classes or who want a guided learning experience may seek a master here. Note that posting in that thread does not guarantee you a master; it merely informs people that you are looking for one. In order to get a master to teach you personally, you will most likely have to find someone who is looking for one and get to know them well, while remaining active, patient and within their tastes for a padawan. On the other hand, you may just want a one-off lesson from somebody or another student to train with as a training partner. In any case, posting in the 'Looking for a master' thread or asking on the servers will inform people that you are looking for guidance.
