What are you up to? I have not been on lately so, as you already know, we haven't seen each other. That will change soon. Just been busy with RL and haven't had the oppurtunities to be decimated by you. How unfortunate. I am working on finding a pic of a red deer but should it be a real red deer or a colored red one? Wow, that sounds wonderful. My style however is awful so it needs lots of work. I was playing with my master last night and he said hey koushka this guy came up to me and called you red deer and said some points to help your style. how does it change what you said? I can only change what you say by editing your comment Now, to correctly answer your question... this is how. "using the hilt because kenshin was of balance" is what you said, which is the statement i have problems with. now, think about this - kenshin, who had mastered the battoujitsu - was fully aware of the disadvantage that he is left completly defenceless if he misses. Now kenshin wasn't off balance, he was completely balanced (he wouldnt of been able to use the sheath if he was off balance). He used the sheath, intendently, to do a Hiten Mitsurigi Ryu, Dou Ryu Sen (as far as i remember, thats what its called). He wasn;t off balance, thats the move. well... ill tell you this in battoujitsu, drawing the sword increases the speed by alot. Now... there is one problem. If the other person (defender?) were to dodge the first strike, the battoujitsu-er is completly defence less. That is what jinne was doing. He dodged the first one, and was going to smoke kenshin. Kenshin, who had mastered the battoujitsu (hense battousai), was fully aware of this (and the sakabatou slowing down the drawing for a split second), so he used the sheath as a second attack to defend himself. Hiko did say, that every battoujitsu in hiten mitsurigi ryu is a double, as to not leave the attacker at a disadvantage (if they miss, they can always hit with the second). So... kenshin wasnt nesicarily ofbalance, he was just protecting himself... the second one tends to be more powerful than the first also. _______________ When you become an actor, you become the person, and you dont act anymore. well, to preform a battoujitsu, you ahve to draw your sword out of the hilt at high speeds. So, to get the battoujitsu out; i guess you could do a side swing while igniting your saber... but i dont think itd work well.
