I think you misunderstood me. I know a guy who's far jazzier than you and plays tenor sax. It kind of goes with the territory, considering he practises a minimum of 3 hours a day. John Coltrane is more of a role model to him than his parents are, although it should be mentioned that that doesn't include the bad parts of Coltrane, like the heroin ODs.  Also, I don't play any woodwinds. I just play piano, string bass, electric bass, drums, auxiliary percussion, trumpet, flugel horn, slide trombone, valve trombone, baritone horn, and tuba.  and before you ask: yes, I'm serious about all of the above. Hmm..I ask..do you really play the tenor sax? I am just curious because Im a sophmore in high school, and Im in the Jazz band, concert, symphonic, and marching all for the tenor sax..lol. Been playing it a long time so am getting pretty good. I haven't really thought about interpretation, but I guess that's more fun stuff I can do. I've only been able to go be lucid once, and then I heard my alarm and was extremely sad. I was able to punch everyone in the face before I woke up though. I kind of got out of it a little after I did it, but now I'm getting back into it. I haven't really tried too hard because of school, so I am really anxious for the summer. Then again, I'm off Tuesday... I think that 'set your alarm a few hours early and read about lucid dreaming for an hour then go back to sleep and go for it' method sounds really good. Methinks I'll try it. I'm glad sleep became something to look forward to as opposed from a waste of a third of your life ."Sweet dreams." _______________ Captain Barkeep. |
