Brother Faded, There have been many students to whom I have held a sacred bond close to my heart, and each one of them has touched my soul from then until forever. However, I feel the relationship that you and I had was one that was extremely unique. You and I spoke on a very personal basis, and I really appreciated that about our relationship. Our long engaging hours of dueling was always full of great energy that we shared, which carried on in our conversations online. You have taught me much about my own dueling abilities, and much about myself. And I want to thank you for that. I must make a declaration as to how much personal respect and consideration I have for you and to your future as a Jedi and as a Human. I look forward to speaking with you after your journies ( I do hope you will have some access to a computer in the coming years  ) and I am already excited to hear the fascinating stories and things you will have to teach me about what you learn in your coming experiences!I wish you the best, and I do hope we stay in touch. ---=== Remember to always keep an open mind, and question everything until you find the answers. Ya know, I was just looking at the filesize on the Jedi Council map Griffenclaw did in JK2... It's only 8mb! Its a massive map, with a lot of detail, so I want to know how he kept his map as small as our own academy_v4. Hopefully, we can make our map decently small in file size, so as not to upset the 56k users. Also, in regard to the physical size... Is there a way to set up the game to respawn you in the respawn area nearest to where you died? Or somehow assign it to respawn anyone who died in a certain room to a respawn area of your choosing? If so, we could just design some small respawn areas within the various areas of the map. The central respawn will be the main starting point, but not necessarily where you respawn everytime... Understand? Oh, and do we want to go for a JA map logo contest? It struck me that it would be nice to not only have the logo on key doors, but also as a large picture on the respawn area floor. Any which way, I'll talk to you tonight! |
