You should learn palm hand muting my friend. It's where (if your right handed) take the right side of your palm and lay it on the end of the strings at the body end of the guitar, and hit a powerchord. It gives it a great sound for rock n' roll man, especially with a distortion pedal! A Power chord is just 2 strings hit at the same time, heres a power chord in the key of G = 1. -------------------- 2. -------------------- 3. -------------------- 4. -------------------- 5. ---------5--------- 6. --3---------------- The 3 is for the index finger on the 3rd fret, 6th string, and the 5 is for the ring finger on the 5th fret, 5th string.
