Becoming knight? That's easy. You just have to sleep with the right people, you know... I became knight... er... looong time ago. Cant even remeber. I was very active on servers and rockin Over the time however, I got less and less seen on the servers. Mmh, dunno why they didnt fire me yet. Think they appreciate my discussions in the knights forum and the general activity at the site. I'd understand if they'd fire me though Why does DJ hate me? Thats a small intern joke. Thanks. But, I'm afraid that I've already promised 2 people that they may become my padawan and I've decided not to take more in the beginning. Maybe later, you can become my padawan, but at least you can always ask me for a private training. And in the McPlenus Association we don't use a Padawan system. We do have ranks though, but they aren't based on skill, but on helpfulness, members who help the PA much will sooner be promoted than members who Master their professions. Same thing happened to me when i started, I made my maps for giants lol, the spawn entity is the size of you in the game, so build your map based on that. _______________ -ShadowSith: CTF/gunner specialist. |

Not yet, but you need a spawn point lol, info_player_spawn or info_player_deathmatch, just have one to test it. Make sure you have lights too or you can't see anything. _______________ -ShadowSith: CTF/gunner specialist. |

I use info_player_deathmatch for FFA maps, just place them around the map. Right click Info Info_Player_Deathmatch Select them and press n, then select a direction you want it to face for when you spawn, to see which way it's going to face, go to top view and there will be an arrow on the top of the entity. pLOO, I don't know what a world spawn entity does, but for FFA I used death match entities, put like 20 down for a big map or something, get back to me on this one. _______________ -ShadowSith: CTF/gunner specialist. |
