realization just hit me. i know i shouldent be saying this, but, here it is.
this is what i understand about the little incedent. There have been many kickings, we all know that. Weather you like the person or not, it matters not. If the person was being rude, mean, obnoxious, or breaking the rules, they get warnings. If they get banned, they were either one or more of the previous listed things above. To anybody reading this - If you dont want to worry about being banned/told off, wherever you are, respect, respect, respect. But the question is, what is respect? That is something for you to see within yourself. Being respectful can be anything from opening doors, to sticking out of other peoples buisness (sorry about that... I feel as if its duity for some reason  ). I am sure everybody has heard the saying - Do to others what you wish to be done to you. Remember that. If you are mean and obnoxious to other people, then expect that from them. If you want people to respect you, you have no right to be disrespectful to them. Thats how it works folks. If you want to secure your position in life, be nice.
"I was smart once, I reccomend nice" (One of my drama teachers many sayings). So I leave everyone with a challenge (sp), Read the rules section. get familiar with them. If someone breaks the rules, tell them what they are doing is wrong, and advise them to smarten up, and read the rules section. DO NOT, and i repeat, DO NOT! force it on them. dont beat them up, just quietly, when they arent too busy, just whisper to them (messagemode3) and say something like "hey, while you were doing <action here>, you broke this rule <the general rule>, please dont do it again for fear of kicking", or something to that extent. If they keep doing it, ask them to read the rules page (http://academy.jediknightii.net/rules.php). only then, after you have done this, either tell them to stop it (firmly but politely), or, go to a JAT/JAC. only the JATs/JACs have the power, and the right to deal with the offenders. Hate to break it to you Blue Ninja but the only
thing the JAC's need to tell us is what they want to. A principal doesn't have to explain to the student body why a student was expelled. A boss doesn't have to tell everyone why someone is fired. You want to know why, go read through the rules and its probably a pretty safe bet that the person didn't follow them. The JAC's have to keep order here otherwise, why only allow students on the servers. Might as well just announce to everyone that the servers are open for anyone that wants to play and not follow rules. If you don't like the way the JAC's run things here, you know where the door is. Spawn was banned for rule infrictions on the servers. He was not getting any warnings because the policy in the Jedi Academy is that if someone is unbanned, they are to be put on 99.9999% warnings. The comments on the site were nothing.
As far as "Free speach" goes : The Jedi Academy is a private establishment, which means you are given as much free speach as we give you - if we decide you aren't allowed to voice your opinion, you don't get it. It's as simple as that. |

Ok, I do know the whole story, and I know that that wasn't the only reason he was banned. But, he really didn't do anything. He made a couple of comments, but he didn't trip the place or anything. He has been banned from this academy twice already and he still hasn't learned any respect or how to behave himself.
