So, I did some research on my router. The IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is my router's IP address, assigned through DHCP by my ISP (as far as I know). Within that, I can have up to 256 computers connecting to the Internet through that router, with *local* IP addresses 192.168.1.x. If the Windows networking settings have dynamic IP enabled, the router will choose a random x value, which happened to be 101 this morning. What I had to do was set Windows to a static IP address within 192.168.1.x (I used 101 since it was there already ) and enable port forwarding on the router for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:29070 to 192.168.1.101:29070. So, now "tarpman TEST server" shows up on the "Internet" games list in MP. Yay! I'll try to get up early tomorrow morning so that we can see if you can connect too. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time.
