Jan Jan, I can hardly bring myself to say good-bye for now. My ship date looms behind me line the Mustang GTs I leave at the line when I race from traffic light to traffic light. They can never catch me, but 10/20/04 makes steady progress. Second by second, hour by hour, it draws closer. I can't bring myself to let go, not yet. Its going to be good, I know it will, but I question if I have to leave too much for what I'm going to gain. Undoubtedly, I will gain skills and education that will help me excel when I'm discharged, but by that time most everyone I know and love will be ouch of reach, and that's what I fear most. I fear not for all of you that are connected to me via this wonderful, yet dispicable place we call the internet. I will always have you, as long as we take the time to inform each other of adress changes. I will be back, back to play, back to teach, and back to work diligently. I'm hoping January next year. I'm trying to get my mailing adress, so that it can be posted on The Academy for anyone who might wish to write to me while I'm away from my keyboard. If not, next year will holds my return, God willing.
