Janus, don't ever take my ramblings on TS about your staff as being something negative. If it weren't for your ownage of my duals, I wouldn't have a goal to achieve  Despite my verbal frustration, I'm loving it! I just need to grow in my understanding of dual sabers so I can be a better matchup for your staff. Mikel Rider is also giving me the necessary experience vs staff and some tips. Its all in the name of fun! Its really hard to find anyone on the server who is using the staff and on top of that using it well. We just have so many god dang single saberists! Just like what I was saying, I'm trying to help Motrec change that. There are 3 sabers to choose from for god's sake  If people see dual saberists and staff saberists doing well, we may get some converts. If you could spread the staff gospel, we could get some more people doing that along with the dual saber gospel Motrec and I are spreading. We need a better mix _______________ Gone but hopefully not forgotten... |

You must have a sixth sense for detecting swings as you stayed JUST outside my range, ready to pounce. Truely skilled with the staff, every duel makes my heart race. Keep up the good work with guns man! Here's some tips: Pistol - Remember to "lead" your opponent, meaning to predict where they will be landing or moving, like if they're moving right, then shoot to their far right Repeater, Rocket, and Concussion - These are splash damage guns that will damage your opponent on a blast radius, use these a lot They help a whole bunch. Use rocket and repeater mostly though. Concussion is a huge ammo eater.Sniper - Primary fire is hard to aim with, although it can prove to be useful at times. If you want to go really risky, then start using zoom in in sniper duels Bowcaster and DEMP - These are pretty much your last resort weapons. They should be used when you've run out of ammo. Try to stay away from the DEMP as much as possible. Detenation Packs - Very useful for it's damage and remote control. Use when not seen, and you know that your opponent will be headed in the direction that you plant the det in. Also, use about 3 to kill your opponent (when he has 100/25). Proxi Mines - Use these mainly in small corridor areas. Always use secondary fire, unless in Siege or a CTF situation. Thermal Dets - Always use secondary fire, they have a great splash damage. |
