Over the past few months it has become apparent to the Jedi Academy's senior staff that the apparently tragic events that lead to countless tributes being made to Vladarion and his memory have turned out to be untrue.
With this in mind, the JA has opted to remove Vladarion from the Hall of Fame. Action in regards to the "the_academy_v3" map memorial will be taken at a later date. On behalf of all of the JA's administrative staff involved, I would like to apologise to all of those affected by the initial events which took place in 2003 and lead to the various tributes made. The JA believed all correspondence in regards to Vladarion's apparent death to be genuine and sincere. We have created a thread containing the aforementioned which can be used for discussion in regards to this matter. Keep ALL discussion of this matter on the thread in the aforementioned link. Any new threads on any section of the forums regarding this will be closed. Any posts made on this profile or anywhere else found to be in violation of the JA rules will be deleted and the poster will face official warning or closure of their site account. Flaming, disrespect, trolling or any other rule infractions will not be tolerated and dealt with accordingly. This is a delicate subject. Treat it with respect. Thank you. This is really sad I don't know what to say... I've only talked to Vlad some times, but I know that he was a really great guy, and he deserved better than this outcome, much better. It is always sad to learn that people have passed to the "next phase of life", but it is even sadder to actually know the specific person. After already being to two funerals in just a month in late 2003, I must admit that life is blindly unfair; really unfair. I know that you're not reading this Vlad, but... ... but I would like to say that we'll all miss you.I now have another empty space in my heart, and it cannot be filled again I don't know why life decided that it was you who should be "taken", but I DO know that this was wrong... Especially because it happened during a holiday in which the family must be happy and close to each other. I don't know what more I can say... omg, i dont know what to say..... When i first met vlad, it was when i first came to the JA, he was one of the first people i met in the academy. He like many others was a role model to me, i saw him duel, i saw heard him talk, i saw his posts. Every time i saw Vlad he was always making someone happy....making me happy. My heart goes out to his family, friends and anyone close to vlad. Vladarion, You've been one of my best online friends ever... We chatted forever every week... remembering how I recommended your present for Christmas... how I laughed at your adorable accent (can you say drawl?), how we shared a respect for Virt, how we were the first to take the colors... it was only last night I talked to Virtue about you, how I missed you. Where you were at. I only get an inkling of the person you were... but I remember our conversations about your family, your music preferences, the country you loved ("No, old country, classic country!"  , your grandparents raising you, it's...It's unbelievable, Vlad. My condolances to his family and friends. He's not just a "model student", he was a model, period. This is really tearing me up inside. I loved this guy. I cant remeber the last time i met someone with his wonderful attitude and easy-going humor. He meant more to me that I think he knew. The world is truly a lesser place without him. He was truly a better man than I could ever hope to be... He will always have a special place in my heart. when jacen told me the news i was completely shocked.. although i never really was very close to him, i feel great sadness over his tragic accident.. i looked up my first forum post in the academy and his reply, remembered how we once babbled about sabering on a ja server.. only once.. i feel deep regret for not having gotten to know him better, from what i can tell he was a very kind and benevolent man. may he rest in peace.. _______________ When the winds of change roam the land, there are those who raise walls - and others who build pin wheels. |

Im zoned out, i cant believe this happened and I too and speechless. I hardly knew Vladorian but we did talk on IRC alot. He was an exceptional student with great abilities and an awesome attitude. Im still shocked, this hasnt hit me in the face yet... Rest In peace friend _______________ |

I wish you to rest in peace my friend. When I received Vlad's wife email I was working on some pics for DJ and we were happily having a discussion. I read the content of the message without understanding why it was beginning without the traditional 'howdy'. Then I began to understand and feel the tears in my eyes. I have had some very long talks (several hours) with Vlad, over TS or Gamevoice and I can't forget his happy voice always joking. He was the guy that made me stay in the JA because he truly showed me the kindness and patience that are praised in here. He was also very humble and eager to learn and teach. I am too speechless...Complete shock..I didn't konw Vlad that much only read comments, and if he was on irc talked like I alwasy do.. Eventhough I dont know every single person at the Academy I consider all of them family/friends..Even typin this I am over come with emotions, tis a sad day for all of us at the Academy. As soon as dj sith had told us about Vlad's death on irc, I was shocked. He was always a good guy, who was friendly and open. Honestly, I still can not believe that I will no longer see him on the TJA servers and chat. As I write this, I am filled with tears. I never thought that I would cry, when finding out that someone who I have never met in real life, has died. I don't know anything more about this person then his Online alias and the news of his death will surely huant me for a time to come. Its when bad things happen to others that you become, what you fear, at your most vulnerable moment. He will be missed. The First day I signed up to The Jedi Academy, I was greated by vlad, and he handed my ass to me. He was a good player and never acted as though he was above anyone else. I gotta go for a walk. I just heard as well. As Exar said, it was a great shock.... only a few weeks ago, I talked with you, and you were happy and full of spirit, as always. My friend, you were always so kind to others, possibly the least selfish guy in the JA. 100% friendly, patient, and always ready to offer his own sweat and tears to make others happy. We need more people like him in the world. I don't know how to express myself any better than this crap, and for that, I'm sorry. Rest in Peace, bro. I just heard on IRC what happened. Right now there's nothing I can say. The words just wont come into my head. I never knew vlad that good. I did see and read his posts on the site from time to time, and I think I met him in the server a few times. Other than that I was never really close to him. Nevertheless, it shocked me to hear that he had died. I've thought about how I'd feel if and academy member were to die a few times. Never could I know that it would be a shock like this. I've seen people close to me die in RL a few times, and the first shock of this cyber-one was not less than any of the RL ones. My condoleances go out to vladarion's family and friends. May they find support in these dark days. Vlad, I know you cant read this, but I know you were one of those members that lived the true JA spirit.
