The characters in it were for the most part superbly written, i also feel it developed the new generation of jedi vastly, with characters like Jacen Solo, Tahiri, and others really coming into their own. I've read plenty of books in the EU, mostly from after RotJ yeah, although i have not read them all, the X-Wing series is still one of my favourites, Stackpole developed Wedge Antilles and the main characters like Corran Horn, and Tycho very well, and then Aaron Allston created the true feeling of the squadron; i really enjoyed I,Jedi as well, the story told in first person from Corran Horn's perspective. I agree i've spent time in the past dreaming up my own game set in that period, others hoping that the JK series would go there like you say. Well you never know, we can hope hehe, in my opinion it would be a great move though. I think i have a name now, i'm thinking of Alexander, when Jaiko sorts out the other half my name would be Alexander D'Kana i guess.
